Nasi uduk is just like nasi lemak. Recipe is ordinary and easy. But the essence and feeling is unique when someone spend so much time and heart to prepare.
Nasi tim is quite common among the Chinese community in Jakarta. I think the name derived from steam rice.
Pre cooked soy sauce chicken steamed together with the rice in metal bowl. Seller carrying in the back of their motorcycle. It then pack into plastic sheet in hot condition. Seems pretty safe to eat.
