I came across few stall call Sister, and they all serve fantastic food. I think when few "sisters" join together doing something special, result will be tremendous.

The Goldern Horse Palace Buffet

Last September, when I was leaving my previous company, HR arranged a farewell buffet lunch at Golden Horse Palace.

Not that expensive, but kind enough to enjoy the specialty.

Lonely afternoon at Nando's

Hectic schedule, stressful task. Unbelievable business case with stupidity processes make a person drawn in the daily rat race.

One lonely afternoon, one lonely lunch at Nando's.

Self padding. Deep thoughts. Fishing ideas. And rejuvenate right after for the challenges!

There is one very good Bak Kut Teh stall in Batu 11 Balakong. It is situated near a community basketball court. Not difficult to locate.

Fried Fish Head @ Balakong

Fish head has become a delicacy these days. I love curry fish head. There are few shops in Balakong selling reasonably good curry fish head. Hence, my diet program has been a complete failure.

But fried fish head, first time I heard and tried. Sounds new and wonder how it done.

The shops is located somewhere off Jalan Balakong. I was being taken by someone and therefore, I could not recall the "eat scene". Sorry...

We served with a plate of "tau jiu" or fermented soy bean meat, first.

Then a clay pot wine chicken.

And finally the main dish, fried fish head. Beside a little earthy flavor on the flash, it was very well marinated and cooked with dry chili.

Ah Yip Herbal Soup

It was a boring afternoon. My lunch partner had has another date and left me behind. Usually with this kind of situation, I will go for my happy meal to cheer me up.

Walking alone in Mines should be fun. But that day pretty girls all hiding in their nest and I only saw few ninjas flying around. What a day.

"Well, at least I can rest my eye for this time." I told myself. Maybe I can concentrate on my paper while having my lunch. :)

Walked passed a shop called Ah Yip, serving herbal soup, and set lunch.

"Decoration looks sophisticated. Mmnn... Maybe I should built my immune system today." I told myself again. I wonder this herbal thing can make me "Happy" or not?

Signage looks nice but kind of complicated. I need to spend time to understand the promotion message.

A complete meal with stew mushroom chicken, vegetables and a bowl of herbal soup cost me about RM13. I felt slightly healthier after the meal. But no happier. :)

Gasoline... a place to refill friendship.

"Brother, I am thirsty!" Fong, our Project Manager went to my room screaming about a tough day's work.

"Go get some water in the pantry, my friend." I teased him.

"I don't think water will work. I am exhausted, need some gas also."

"Hahaha... I know you. Its time to refill in our Gasoline."

Happy Hour, it is really the happiest hours for most of our kind of Kuli. After a long day fighting in the field, we all badly need to get loosen. We are mentally drained and badly need to refill before going back to face the bed.

Beers, jokes and crazy stories after a hard day's work really heal us emotionally and make us a better person back home. So wifes, listen to our side of story, will you?

This small cafe in Sri Kembangan has some unique interior design. Although it is meant for the young, but I kind of like the name, Gasoline. It is at the shops behind South City Plaza.

What do you get in Gasoline? Of cause drinks with gas laa....

Beer with chicken wings. A wonderful mate!

Of cause, cannot live without my favorite fried sotong too.
