Carls' Junior @ Sunway Pyramid

If you have known me well enough, you must know that I am a fast food man. I swallow my food very fast and I love Happy Meal.

I found a super duple happy meal in Sunway Pyramid. Yup! Super burger, superb. The portion is large, ingredient is quality and the taste is memorable.

Kong Sai Zai @ Sunway Mentari

As usual, today is chicken day and we got to have some nice chicken meal with my sis.

Kong Sai Zai has opened a branch in Sunway Mentari. We tried their chicken in Puchong before and kind of like it.

I say kind of is because, after the vote, all my family preferred except my vote.

So, why they like and why mine go the other way?

My father-in-law is Kong Sai people. As a result, my wife got to love the taste and the way of cooking, especially the "unique" sauce.

My mother think that the chicken taste good and cheaper then the Jalan Gasing one.

My sister like the yellowish skin of the chicken.

Me? I just not prefer chicken serving in cold and half cooked to preserve the texture. I like my chicken to be hot, full of steam and deep cooked even to the bone.

Chicken Day @ Kuang Xi Restaurent

My sister is allergy to chicken. Yes, chicken (ayam).

She used to suffer itchiness everyday and we do not know what happen. After long search and discovering, chicken is the cause.

So, chicken is not a usual dish in house. That's why I patron KFC so frequent.

Once a while, when she crave for the bird, she will take the medic and the day will be call Chicken Day.

Last Saturday is that day and we scout for rooster, hans, etc.

Wife says she was born in the year of "phoenix", so she is cool on that.

Kuang Xi Restaurent in Sunway supply very good chicken meal. The restaurent is in the middle of all the steamboat outlet. Easy to find.

Restaurent Cafe De Sky Garden... Vegetarian in style

Hiding in a remote place somewhere near Kampung Medan, Sunway found a fantastic vegetarian western style cuisine.

Environment of the restaurant felt very English. Serving pastry, cakes, and coffee and tea. In vegetarian style.

Me myself, a typical carnivore also felt impress with the set up. How about you?

Pretty nice place for a cup of tea in the afternoon.

Oshi Rice. Japanese style fried rice with sea wheat and artificial prawn. Full of sea flavor.

Birthday Dinner @ Zen Sunway

I usually do not have big celebration. Simple dinner is enough for me to be happy. Only twice in my life I had a big party at house for my friends. I do enjoy my friends' wishes and loves. It just myth that to keep lower profile during birthday for a better year. Strange? I also thought so.

Last year it felt on the Chinese New Year day and I virtually had the entire world celebrate with me. This year it fall a bit earlier and I had to find some place to treat myself slightly better.

Japanese seems good. So, I went to this Zen Restaurant at Sunway Pyramid. A nicely built eating place with fantastic food. A good place to sit by the window and look at the street. A good place to sit comfort and enjoy some fine sashimi. A good place to make a wish for a better year a head. Good food, good life!

Forget what's these bean called already (hey, I am Chinaman, not Japanese laa), but I love it very much.

Sushi set dinner with udon soup. Nice.

Sashimi set. I felt like a cat eating those raw fish. enjoyable as it feel kind of healthy and I love wasabi.

Student food in Sunway Food Court.

I used to hang around at Sunway food court, near Sunway College, the area with many, many car work shops. We love to have lunch there not because the food is great, but my friends enjoy "site seeing" while having their meal. Scenery is fantastic, especially for us "ma lat lou".

There was an evening when I passed thru the area, I noticed a stall still open at night with many people sitting having their dinner.

Only one pretty girl this time, but I stopped and decided to try out.



We ordered Sinchew Bihun, Loh mee and the ultimate chicken soup. You can guess which dish was my favorite. It sure be the chicken soup. Taste great with herbs everywhere and sweet soup.

The rest? Please do not fool with my great picture taking skill laaa...
